People & Peaks Production Believes in Networking & Collaboration

People & Peaks Productions Ltd believes in networking and collaboration. We are members in good standing with the Alberta Media Production Industries Association (AMPIA). AMPIA is a non-profit professional association incorporated in 1973. At its inception, its mandate was to support the independent motion picture industry as a viable economic and cultural force within the Province of Alberta. Since that time, the media industry in Canada and the world has changed dramatically and AMPIA continues to play an important role in the media production industry in Alberta. A volunteer Board of Directors, elected at an Annual General Meeting, governs AMPIA.

WIFTA is a non-profit organization that promotes and assists the professional development, equitable treatment, recognition of achievements and the creation of new opportunities for professionals, especially women in the film, video, multimedia and television industries. Susan Feddema-Leonard, is the current President of Women in Film and Television Alberta.

Representatives from People & Peaks Productions also attend various film and television events and conferences like the Impact Media Summit in New York. The also attend the annual Banff World Media Festival.

The Production Company participates in various film festivals such as the Jasper Short Film Festival, Dreamspeakers Film Festival, the Edson Home Grown Film Festival and the People & Peaks Film Festival.

People & Peaks Productions are also regularly aired as one-hour “specials” on Wild Tv.
